AURORA, N.C. –– The Aurora Solid Waste Collection Site at 118 Old Campbell’s Creek Road will temporarily close for repairs on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. The site will remain closed for approximately six weeks.
Residents may utilize the Buck Jones Solid Waste Collection Site (202 Clay Bottom School Road, Chocowinity, NC 27817) during the closure. The Buck Jones site will temporarily expand operating hours to accommodate increased usage. The site will be open Monday – Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
