Fees: $10.00 plus $1.00 processing fee for each certified copy. All online requests received and accepted before 3:00 p.m., will be processed the same day.

All adoption requests are processed with the North Carolina State Vital Records.

Those entitled to obtain a North Carolina Vital Record are as follows: yourself, spouse, brother / sister, child / stepchild, parent / stepparent, grandparent, grandchild, authorized agent, attorney or other legal representative (proof required).
