For safety and security reasons, only clients receiving services will be allowed to go into the clinic area.

Children will be seen one at a time. Therefore, clients must bring someone of an appropriate age and maturity to help so their children will be supervised at all times.



Comprehensive prenatal care and support services are offered to pregnant women. Our Certified Nurse Midwife works with each client to ensure a health pregnancy.


Home visits by a registered nurse are made to mothers and babies who are on Medicaid and/or received prenatal or maternity care coordination services from the Health Department.


Community education/health intervention is provided throughout the community to empower individuals to live healthier lifestyles.


Cancer screenings are provided for low income women who do not have Medicare B or Medicaid and are 50 to 64 years of age and meet the financial criteria.


Laboratory services are available by appointment.


Case management is provided to pregnant women through counseling and support services.


Diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up is available for anyone diagnosed with or with a suspected exposure to Tuberculosis.


Care Coordination for Children (CC4C) focuses on infants and children up to age 5 who have been identified with developmental and/or chronic health problems or who are at risk for such problems.


Children and adults may obtain immunizations in order to prevent and control communicable diseases. All childhood immunizations are provided free of charge.


WIC is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding until the baby is 12 months old or had a baby in the past 6 months, infants and children up to 5 years old.


The county health department has to report every SIDS death. A SIDS Counselor may visit the family and can provide grief support or counseling to parents, grandparents, and siblings.


Counseling, education, and various methods of birth control are provided for the female population within the childbearing years.


On-Site Wastewater Permits, Pool Program, Inspection and Grading for Food, Lodging and Institutions, Inspections of Tattoo Parlors, Childhood Lead Program, Water Samples


The purpose of vital registration is to administer and enforce the General Statutes of North Carolina for Vital Statistics and related laws.
